Focus on solar technology: In the most recent example, a manufacturer of PV systems planned to update their inverters to control the electronics of such systems. The existing housing was to be used for the “inner workings”; PEM® ReelFast® soldering nuts from the Bossard range were already being used here.

With the new inverters, two challenges had to be solved, among other things for the connection technology: The need for parts was and is significantly increased, which  brought the question of delivery capabilities to the foreground.

Furthermore, experience has shown higher demands on the tightness of the inverter housing, which is exposed to wind and weather.

Sustainability in customer relationships

Bossard Key Account Manager Urban Bucher kept in touch with the customer – together with Michael Weber and the engineers from the OEM, he worked on the best possible solution that, in addition to the technology, also included commercial issues such as price expectations, forecasts, future development of requirements and delivery capabilities:

The result: Bossard expertise will come into play both inside and outside the inverter housing.
